Joining Instructions

This part of our Web Site is part of a larger community project being run by VICNET called mc2- My Connected Community, which aims to help groups get online and connect their communities. There are more than 400 online communities participating and ours is called WOMEN IN TRADES & SERVICES. The mc2 project is an initiative of the State Government of Victoria, as part of the Connecting Victoria Policy, delivered by Multimedia Victoria & VICNET.

We encourage you to visit the site and join the membership list. (Instructions about how to do this are below- it looks hard but it is very simple provided you have an email address).

INSTRUCTIONS

Here's the process for anyone wanting to use mc2 for the first time... they will need to:

1. Have a valid email address (FREE from e.g. hotmail.com, if you haven't one already/ email contact the VICNET Help Desk - details below)
   
   1.1 - VISIT http://mc2.vicnet.net.au/
   
   
2. Register with mc2 (one-off process)
   
   2.1 - Click on the "register" link on the front page:
   2.2 - Submit name & email address
   2.3 - Check email & follow the link in the registration email that's sent
   2.4 - Providing you follow the link, you are now registered!
   
   
3. Login (use the email address & password you used in registration)
   
   
4. Join a Community (go to) WOMEN IN TRADES AND SERVICES
   * Click the link for WOMEN IN TRADES AND SERVICES then
   click "subscribe" (one-off process)
   * Note you must login first, or mc2 doesn't know who to subscribe!
   
   The next time you come to the site, all you need to do to reach WOMEN IN TRADES AND SERVICES is login (no need to register or subscribe again).
